Trailer and technical system monitoring

Unforeseen damage to the brakes, tyres or axles? High costs for unscheduled repairs and down times?

It doesn't need to be like that: our autonomous trailer telematics continually inform you about your trailer's technical systems - throughout Europe and to high automotive standards. Because reliability and durability are the nuts and bolts for you, for us and for your customers.

Our high technical standards already start off in the Schmitz Cargobull plant in Vreden, Altenberge and Gotha in Germany. The telematics system is installed in the trailer directly on the line and is commissioned during the end of line test. Secure procedures mean that errors are avoided during installation.

Our technical systems are further backed up by our customer-oriented service, if you ever need it. This service is delivered by our subsidiary company Schmitz Cargobull Parts and Service with around 500 partners in Europe. We have designed our own diagnosis tool to ensure rapid support in emergencies.

"Only when the trailer is good, is the load good." This maxim means that any significant operating fault in the trailer needs to be reported immediately so that it can be quickly reacted to and any harm can be avoided.

In the end, no system in the world can survive when criminals are at work but it can help slow them down. Hardware and cables are concealed and, together with intelligent software, you can make it harder for criminals to steal or damage your trailer by reacting in time when danger threatens. This definitely increases your trailer's security many times over.

We have all joined together to work on high technical standards for trailer telematics with a look to the future.

Our partners T-SystemsBosch and T-Mobile are renowned specialists and market leaders in their domain just like Schmitz Cargobull.
