Technology - Immobilizer
- The immobilizer function provides protection against unauthorised vehicle movement
- The immobilizer function is activated prior to unhitching/parking by entering a PIN code (4 digits) on the TIS (=SmartBoard)
- Spring-loaded brakes are engaged independently of the double release valve
- The immobilizer function is not deactivated until the PIN code has been entered again. The vehicle can then be moved.
