Patented Technology for Greater Side Tarpaulin Strength.

Our newly developed TARPOS®+ side tarpaulins deliver significantly higher durability and tear resistance – standard on all curtainsiders.

TARPOS®+ tarpaulins are manufactured using polyester thread textiles. The structure of the material provides a more durable connection with the PVC covering layers on both sides. In addition the material does not contain any harmful substances. This results in significantly improved material characteristics: The tarpaulin possesses greater mechanical strength and tear resistance. It increases the body stability and the loading safety.


TARPOS®+: The New Tarpaulin Generation

Our new TARPOS®+ tarpaulins are a patented joint-development created together with specialised industrial partners – exclusively for Schmitz Cargobull curtainsiders. The new tarpaulin material is more flexible, easier to handle and is distinguished by excellent stretching properties. TARPOS®+ is also environmentally friendly as it contains no toxic bonding agents or heavy metals and is also completely recyclable.

  • Improved load securing characteristics of the tarpaulin material through highly increased mechanical strength and tearing resistance.
  • Smooth, ripple-free material with a strong, glossy surface for reduced air resistance, lower dirt adhesion, easier cleaning and more brilliant colours for the tarpaulin printing.
  • The PVC coating on the tarpaulin does not contain any harmful or environmentally damaging substances as per the REACH ordinance (EU) 1907/2006 and is easy to recycle

The extremely smooth surface lowers the air resistance, prevents dirt adhesion, simplifies cleaning and makes the images printed on your tarpaulin sharper and more brilliant.
