Horstmar, September 2017 – With immediate effect the trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull increases its prices for all box bodies, curtainsiders and tipper trailers due to steadily increasing raw material prices and material and energy costs, which have a direct impact on the trailer production costs.
Until now, for the benefit of our customers, Schmitz Cargobull has managed to absorb most of the increasing costs through utmost efficient and optimised material employment, as well as by increasing production volumes considerably.
Current cost development makes it necessary to adjust prices by at least four percent for all vehicle types.
By expanding its production network and with new services and digitalization options, Schmitz Cargobull offers the opportunity to compensate for higher purchase prices with optimised Total Costs of Ownership (TCO)
