Oltarzew / Horstmar, December 2017 – On 1 December 2017 the 50,000th semi-trailer delivered by EWT in Poland was handed over to Raben. As the general representative of Schmitz Cargobull AG for the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, as well as Mercedes-Benz dealer for the Czech and Polish markets, the EWT group has been a leading premium class partner in the truck and trailer sector since 1995. Natacha and Dirk Hoffmann, the owners and board members of EWT Truck & Trailer GmbH & Co. “We are especially happy that the 50,000th Schmitz Cargobull semi-trailer provided to the Polish market by EWT Polska since its establishment in 1998 is going to our long-time and loyal customer Raben Transport. We have been working together for over two decades. We are truly proud of the mutual success we have enjoyed so far,” said Dirk Hoffmann.

“Providing the 50,000th semi-trailer is a milestone in the history of the cooperation between EWT and Schmitz, and it expresses the approval of Schmitz Cargobull on the Polish market,” Boris Billich added.

Certified loading safety without the use of support laths

The S.CS MEGA curtainsider that was delivered has a plank tarpauling and will primarily be used by Raben Transport for the automotive industry to transport spare parts for Mercedes-Benz. The body with the Schmitz Cargobul plank tarpaulin is particularly well suited to this task as the tarpaulin is very sturdy at the sides. Moreover, time is saved when loading and unloading as no support laths are required.
