November 2019 - Schmitz Cargobull has once again secured one of the coveted sustainability awards from the Huss-Verlag publishing house. This time, the EcoDuo transport concept impressed the expert jury in the Concept and Initiative category. The EcoDuo is two standard semi-trailers, connected by a dolly and towed by a tractor unit.

June 2019 – Schmitz Cargobull has delivered the 1,250th semi-trailer to the pfenning logistics group. For the handover of the two-axle box semi-trailer, representatives from both companies met at the Heddesheim site.

June 2019 – VerkehrsRundschau and TRUCKER have awarded Schmitz Cargobull the “Green Truck Future Innovation” Award 2019 for its EcoDuo long HGV concept. The market leader convinced the expert jury with the vehicle combination which is capable of achieving CO2 savings of 25% for long-distance international freight transport.

At the transport logistic 2019 trade fair taking place in Munich between 4 and

June 2019 – With its new EcoDuo concept, Schmitz Cargobull is launching a new transport concept for the European market. As well as being able to transport  more freight, it does not put any extra strain on current infrastructure, is able to reduce CO2 emissions, is in line with current commercial transport standards and is ideal for point-to-point transport outside of urban areas.

Avril 2019 – Le 22 mars, au cours d’une cérémonie officielle, la nouvelle presse à injecter pour la fabrication du système isolant FERROPLAST, a été mise en service au sein de l’usine de Schmitz Cargobull à Panev?žys, en Lituanie. Avec cette nouvelle installation,
l’entreprise multiplie par 3 ses capacités de production en passant à 30 véhicules par jour.

Mars 2019 – Constructing Value – « construire de la valeur ». C’est sous cette devise que se présentera Schmitz Cargobull AG au salon BAUMA 2019 de Munich (du 8 au 14 avril 2019 – Hall B4/Stand n° 313). Le constructeur exposera deux semi-remorques à benne basculante S.KI. Une avec isolation thermique et une autre dotée d’un nouveau revêtement anti usure en plastique. Une carrosserie benne M.KI à bâche coulissante électrique fera aussi son show. Ces véhicules seront dotés « d’assistants numériques » tels que la télématique embarquée ou l’application S.KI Control.

production in Berlin, to close the Berlin site and to enter into negotiations on a
