Schmitz Cargobull awards its suppliers

Horstmar, September 2017 – The first Schmitz Cargobull Suppliers’ Day was held as part of the celebrations for Schmitz Cargobull's 125th anniversary, at which the trailer manufacturer presented awards to its suppliers in five different categories.

More service and comfort for workshop partners and customers with the Schmitz Cargobull Repair System
The 100,000th order placed in the Schmitz Cargobull Repair System / Schmitz Cargobull Parts & Services GmbH celebrates this special event

Horstmar, July 2017 –  Many of Schmitz Cargobull’s more than 1,300 service partners throughout Europe utilise this powerful tool to process repair orders at their workshops. The long-standing service partner Hinners & Richter has now placed the 100,000th order in the Schmitz Cargobull Repair System. Benjamin Hellbusch and Anne Grawe from Schmitz Cargobull Parts & Services congratulated the partner on this special occasion.

Contracts for the Management Board members Andreas Busacker and Andreas Klein extended by five years

Horstmar, July 2017 – The Supervisory Board of Schmitz Cargobull AG has extended the board member contracts for Andreas Busacker (Finances) and Andreas Klein (Operations) ahead of time by a further five years. Both have served on the company’s Management Board since 2015. “Andreas Busacker and Andreas Klein have both proven themselves to be absolute professionals in their respective fields,” says Prof. Jürgen Kluge, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schmitz Cargobull AG. “That is why we are pleased to extend both of the contracts ahead of time and safeguard the long-term continuity within the management.”

Added comfort and transparency for freight companies thanks to service agreements for trailers
Schmitz Cargobull Parts & Services and DEKRA are helping to make sure that data from legal inspections is integrated into the Schmitz Cargobull Repair System (CRS).

The browser-based Schmitz Cargobull Repair System (CRS), developed by the company in-house, acts as a central fleet management portal for customers, workshops and the back office. Schmitz Cargobull Parts & Services already has more than 15,000 service agreements for a wide range of customers across Europe and this number is on the up.
