The optional lift axle as a starting aid extends the  wheelbase and thus increases the pressure on  the drive axle. Unloaded in the lifted position, tire  wear is reduced.

The locking concept: Standard Twist Lock latches on four container beams, folding latches on the rigid front beam, KLAPP LOCK to accommodate the front container for 2 x 20' and STEP LOCK® as an option for height adjustment for 40' containers without tunnel. The pneumatic central tube rear extension is easy and time-saving to operate and does not need to be adjusted
separately for 40' containers without tunnel.

The STEP LOCKs on the rear extension let you adjust your container chassis to containers with or without a tunnel in a matter of moments. The locking height can be changed with ease.

Two KLAPP LOCKs are used to lock the rear end of the front container when transporting 2 x 20' containers: fold up, let the safety hooks engage and mount the container.
