September 2026 – Schmitz Cargobull has further expanded its service offering and added a franchise-based service van fleet. The Mobile Service includes maintenance, repairs, retrofits, as well as technical support and training. It is carried out directly at the customer's site. Quick deployments and a high availability of spare parts can reduce downtimes and put the vehicles back on the road.

The Mobile Service is available to fleet operators regardless of an existing repair and maintenance contract. The service technicians take care of the maintenance and repair of trailers and transport refrigeration units from various manufacturers, so the offer is also aimed at operators of mixed fleets.

Original spare parts and Schmitz Cargobull Value Parts are used for economical, value-based repairs. This supports reliable quality with predictable operating costs at the same time. The Mobile Service complements Schmitz Cargobull's existing workshop services with service assignments directly at the customer's site.

DR. COOL: AI-supported service assistant for efficient maintenance of transport refrigeration units
With DR. COOL, Schmitz Cargobull is introducing an AI-supported service assistant for the diagnosis and repair of transport refrigeration systems. The intelligent chatbot supports service technicians in troubleshooting and provides information for maintenance and repair directly. This allows diagnostic and repair work to be carried out more quickly.  

DR. COOL was first used in the North American market and rolled out in Europe in the next phase. The AI-supported assistant now provides information for error analysis and correction in 27 languages. Time-consuming research or queries can be significantly reduced as a result.

Access to the digital assistant is intended specifically for dealers, service partners and trained specialists. Through the combination of AI-based analysis, high availability and practical application, Schmitz Cargobull is strengthening service quality in the field of temperature-controlled logistics with DR. COOL and taking a further step towards digitally supported maintenance processes.

Spare Parts Lens App – the new app for efficient and convenient identification of spare parts 
With the Spare Parts Lens app, vehicle spare parts can be identified directly on the Schmitz Cargobull trailer and ordered using a smartphone. This reduces the search effort and the risk of possible incorrect orders, and the detected part can be added directly to the shopping cart. The Spare Parts Lens app is available for Android and iOS.

Value Parts – spare parts for the repair of older vehicles in line with the current value
Under the brand name Value Parts, Schmitz Cargobull offers spare parts for the current value repair of older vehicles. Workshops can use the EPOS spare parts portal to identify and order both OE wear parts and value parts. All products in the Value Parts portfolio are tested according to the Schmitz Cargobull quality criteria. The constantly growing range includes frequently required components for brakes, suspensions and transport refrigeration units of all brands.
