Schmitz Cargobull tipper semi-trailer S.KI SOLID for more payload
- More payload thanks to EXTRA-LIGHT chassis and steel round body
- High level of occupational safety thanks to tilt angle warning system, brake pad wear indicator and pneumatic underride protection
- Comfort and efficiency thanks to electric sliding roof
September 2026 – The robust Schmitz Cargobull tipper semi-trailer S.KI SOLID impresses with its high payload, convenient operation and its consistent and reliable product quality. The weight-optimised, robust and universally applicable construction site vehicle offers a loading volume of 25m³ with an overall length of 7.2m and a side wall height of 1460mm, which is specially designed for the universal transport of bulk materials with a high density. The wide, flat floor design ensures a low load centre of gravity and stable driving behaviour as well as uniform wear. The upper chords with optimised cross-section for more vertical and horizontal rigidity further improve the stability of the steel round body. The lateral deformation of the upper chord due to load pressure has thus been significantly reduced, which improves running behaviour and functional reliability for trough covers in sliding roof designs. Wider contact surfaces on the upper chords reduce wear on the trough and covers. The design of the overlying rear wall flap with double pendulum bearing is designed for the harsh operating conditions in bulk material transport and enables secure locking even after partial unloading.
The chassis frames of the S.KI tipper semi-trailers in steel construction are characterised by low weight, high tipping stability and durability in daily use. Schmitz Cargobull assures customers of a ten-year warranty against rust penetration for the galvanised S.KI frame generation. The corrosion protection supports the long-term value retention of the vehicle.
Schmitz Cargobull S.KI equips all tipper semi-trailers with the TrailerConnect® telematics system as standard. In addition to standard functions such as tracking, fleet management, data transfer or the tyre pressure monitoring system, optional functions are available that can be individually designed according to customer requirements. Additional functions increase safety in daily use. The tilt angle warning function warns the driver by means of an acoustic and visual signal if the angle of lateral inclination is unfavourable. The brake pad wear indicator indicates at an early stage the severe abrasion of the brake pads, thus contributing to road safety. The foldable pneumatic underride guard creates more ground clearance when folded up, for example when unloading into the road paver.
The optionally available electric sliding roof with folding hinges from Schmitz Cargobull, which is popular with drivers, is easy to maintain and reduces the risk of accidents for the operator, as the user-friendly and time-saving opening and closing via remote control means there is no need to climb onto the semi-trailer to load or unload it. Two additional reversing lights and the cargo compartment interior lighting ensure better illumination, safety and comfort in the dark. A plastic toolbox for storing tools and accessories, as well as an additional water tank, round off the equipment.
Due to its high flexibility in terms of loading, the S.KI SOLID tipper semitrailer is versatile, avoiding empty runs and increasing profitability.
