As an option, telematics can also be used to monitor the height adjustment of the aerodynamic curtainsider, i.e. sensors detect whether the roof is raised or in an aerodynamic position. This offers a concrete starting point for optimized use of the vehicle

Reliable temperature controlled transport
With a new air distribution system, temperature-controlled air is directed specifically through the S.KO COOL semi-trailer box by optimally arranged channels with an expanded cross-section. Air that has been heated by solar radiation on the roof or side walls is cooled by cold air from the area between the clamping channel and the roof. The air ducts are positioned in such a way that load securing beams and bars can also be placed flexibly and easily. The hat made of dimensionally stable material prevents damage caused by forklift trucks.

CTU hardware and the basic TrailerConnect® telematics contract are included as standard with all S.BO dry freight trailers. This allows you to keep an eye on your freight at all times and in all places. Such high level of transparency allows you to plan your fleet efficiently and economically.

Central power box for easy access
New electrical components can now be retrofitted even more easily with a central power box. All electrical connections are easily accessible and with full documentation. Dsa facilitates maintenance of existing connections and ensures easy integration of new components.

Our TrailerConnect® telematics in the S.KI semi-trailer tipper, with the CTU3 as the central controller, is perfect for intelligent networking of all trailer data from EBS, optional sensor technology (including tyre pressure monitoring) and extremely robust hardware. The system is displayed and partially controlled via the user-friendly TrailerConnect® telematics portal. With trailer telematics, you optimize your dispatching, maintain an overview in fleet management, and optimize your maintenance. You reduce your costs and increase the availability of your trailers at the same time.

Optimizing Planning in Temperature Controlled Transport with Telematics Data
Schmitz Cargobull's proactive monitoring gives you optimum control and security over your Schmitz Cargobull refrigeration machines and protects against breakdowns. Telematics data is transmitted to the TrailerConnect® portal in real time, analyzed and provides information on the status of the S.CU refrigeration machines. All systems are monitored around the clock and potential faults are detected in good time. With proactive monitoring, you solve problems before they arise.
Meeting all legally binding requirements at all times with theTPMS
To ensure customers are prepared for the forthcoming TPMS legal regulations coming in 2024, Schmitz Cargobull is already providing the optimum solution. Our TrailerConnect® telematics system, which is factory fitted as standard as part of our 100% Smart strategy, is equipped with an integrated TPMS receiver module, so that only the sensors on the rim need to be supplemented for tyre pressure measurement if required. By constantly checking and monitoring tyre pressure in the TrailerConnect® portal, you extend the service life of tyires, reduce fuel consumption and save CO2 emissions. With the tyre pressure monitoring system, you not only increase the cost-effectiveness and predictability of your vehicles, but also comply with all legally binding requirements
