New S.CUe electric cooling unit
The purely electrically powered, emission-free S.CUe (electric Semi-trailer Cooling Unit) has been specially designed for distribution transport. There is ever-greater focus on electric mobility concepts to lower emissions. The cooling unit, with integral power electronics, produces a cooling output of 15,900 watts and a heat output of up to 9,100 watts, providing emission-free temperature control. The batteries are located on the landing gear and to the rear of the box body semi-trailer, leaving adequate space for pallet boxes. Compared to a diesel-powered unit, the S.CUe is only slightly heavier. The capacity of the battery can be scaled up due to its modular principle (up to 65 kWh), providing electrical operation for up to ten hours if required.
