MODULOS short chassis for the S.KO box body semi-trailer

MODULOS chassis

The FERROPLAST^® thermal technology box body is self-supporting and warp-resistant. Thanks to their bolted connections, the individual components of the MODULOS trailer chassis can be easily replaced. Corrosion protection is maintained by the galvanised parts.

Running gear

Outstanding driving characteristics, thanks to MRH (Multi-Ride-Height) air suspension. The innovative ventilation system generates less heat extending brake pads lifetime.

Axle lift for better traction

Lifting axle

The axles of ROTOS^® running gear can optionally be equipped with a lifting function. The axle lift and starting aid increase efficiency, driving safety and traction, reducing tyre wear.

The Load Spread Program relieves pressure on the rear axle

Load Spread Program

If the semi-trailer is partially unloaded, the centre of gravity shifts and the fifth-wheel loading becomes heavier. The Load Spread Programme (LSP) takes pressure off the rear axle, compensating for the shift of the centre of gravity.

Double-decker system

The double-decker system provides for flexible and greater utilisation of the semi-trailer. The system provides for gap-free loading using two infinitely height-adjustable and split levels. Ideal for non-stackable freight.

Dynamic Ramp Protection System (DRP) offers protection when approaching the ramp

Dynamic Ramp Protection

The system protects the body when the trailer reverses up to a ramp. At the same time, stainless steel roller bumpers compensate for the trailer's change of height when it is approached by a forklift.

Reversing camera

A reversing camera assists the driver when reversing. Whether docking to ramps, manoeuvring within a confined space or in narrow streets, visibility to the rear provides greater safety and avoids damage.

Tyre re-pressurisation system

The tyre re-pressurisation system checks the tyre pressure and automatically inflates the tyre if required. Lower tyre wear and improved driving characteristics without you needing to re-inflate the tyres yourself.

Electronic ramp approach aid

The electronic ramp approach aid assists drivers when approaching loading ramps. Once reverse gear has been engaged, the system uses visual and audible signals to inform the driver of the distance remaining behind the vehicle. When the semi-trailer is nearing the ramp, the trailer brakes independently.
