Electric air curtain 

The air curtain is mounted stationary at the rear of the body under the roof. During loading and unloading, the electric air curtain is automatically activated. The outside air is sucked in and released downwards. This creates an "air curtain" and the cold air from the load compartment cannot escape.

Parede divisória transversal

Com a ajuda da divisória longitudinal e das divisórias transversais isoladas, o corpo pode ser dividido em várias secções de temperatura, tanto em câmaras de 1/3 como de 2/3. As divisórias podem ser dobradas até ao teto e ajustadas longitudinalmente. Isto permite entregas parciais que não requerem todo o espaço de carga do reboque. As paredes das divisórias podem ser dobradas até ao teto quando não estão a ser utilizadas e só reduzem a altura interior em aprox. 180 mm quando dobradas.

Partição longitudinal variável

Para cargas e descargas frequentes, o elemento giratório é particularmente recomendado, pois pode ser utilizado como porta para uma câmara enquanto a outra câmara está a ser descarregada ou carregada. Isto mantém a temperatura no compartimento 2/3 sem equipamento adicional. O elemento giratório é feito de um painel FERROPLAST de 35 mm de espessura, o que garante um bom isolamento da câmara diferente.

Pode ser fixado em 3 posições:
ângulo de 0° - aplicado como uma parede divisória contínua
Ângulo de 90° - utilizado como divisória de 2/3 compartimentos
Ângulo de 180° - abertura da divisória na câmara 2/3

360° Camera System

360° Camera System (bird’s-eye view)

All trucks have blind spots around themselves. Under such conditions, safety can be improved by intelligent 360° camera system (bird’s-eye view), designed to assist low-speed maneuvering by providing the driver with a complete surround view, including blind spots of the vehicle in real time. The images generated by the four system cameras (each one covering one full side of the vehicle) are merged to create a panoramic 360° picture onto the driver’s monitor.

O sistema de assistente de direção é feito de uma câmara lateral e de um sistema de aviso de sensor lateral permitindo ao condutor saber se algo está no ângulo morto próximo - É especialmente importante quando o camião está a virar à direita. Os sensores de proximidade ultra-sónicos alertam o condutor de obstáculos próximos do veículo, quer estejam em movimento ou parados. Um aviso sonoro e/ou visual na cabina informa da distância enquanto que um alarme sonoro externo opcional pode ser acrescentado para alertar ciclistas e peões de que o veículo está a virar.

Load securing

Load restraint tracks are an important option for all truck bodies to secure the load efficiently and easily. Up to three load restraint tracks can be placed above one another. Tension belts and telescopic locking bars (aluminum square tubing) can be used for load securing.

Galvanized load restraint tracks are fully recessed into the side walls, enabling customers to use the complete internal width.

Galvanized surface mounted load restraint tracks are riveted to the side walls. However, this type of load restraint track reduces the internal width by 24mm.

Telescopic round locking beam

These telescopic round locking beams can be used as support for any type of light load. They are offered in two different combinations of end fixtures – rubber or spigot at the foot.

Aluminum locking bar with handle

This type of aluminum locking bar offers a high blocking force of up to 700daN and are suitable for heavy load securing. They can also be used for vertical and horizontal load securing. These locking bars need special holes in the roof and the floor with a diameter of 25mm for vertical use. They can be placed in the load securing rail holes for horizontal load securing too. 

Aluminum locking bar for airline

Vertical load locking beams fitted into the holes of the airline load locking system act as a support for any type of load (e.g., rolling containers). Optimal load securing is ensured by combining the different beam positions. The load locking beam strength of up to 1600 daN ensures the ideal load securing during transportation. The flexibility of the five-row airline system is best suited to the transportation of carriages, as the load can be secured from two sides of the carriage in any position on the box body.

Multi-function telescopic clamping bar

The multi-function telescopic clamping bar offers convenient handling as well as more flexibility and securing force, plus three versions of different foot options at the top end. Locking forces are as follows: pin top – 600daN, rubber foot top – 300daN, multifunction foot top – 600daN.

Moveable rear step

Convenient access to the box body when loading and unloading the trailer must be ensured to maintain the safety and efficiency of the transport vehicle. The step has a large rung area, which is adjustable in height, making it very comfortable for alternative driver heights. A rung anti-slip surface ensures safety. The step is mounted at the side of the truck and is secured with a simple locking mechanism for easy and convenient use.

Reversing warning system

WABCO TailGuard

The reversing warning system – WABCO TailGuard – increases vehicle safety and reduces risk when reversing by detecting stationary and moving objects in the blind spot behind the vehicle, and independently stopping the vehicle at a safe distance. WABCO TailGuard is automatically activated by shifting into reverse gear. The system uses several ultrasonic sensors to measure the distance to objects located behind the vehicle.

The reversing warning system – Ried White Sounds –prevents accidents by warning anyone in a vehicle’s path that it is moving backwards. This system uses a wide range of white sound frequencies, which give greater directional information to the ear, enabling   listeners to instantly locate where and what direction the sound is coming from.

Underride guard

Underride guard

Rear underride guards are used to protect other traffic participants, such as pedestrians, bicycles and other types of vehicles or means of transport from accidents, where there is a risk that they could move underneath the truck from the back. Schmitz Cargobull rear guards are mounted on all trailers and truck chassis where the original rear guards are not provided by the truck manufacturer. They also meet new ECE regulation (R58.03) requirements.
