Calculation basis:
1 litre of diesel burns 2.65 kg of CO2 (source: www.helmholtz.de).
The calculation is based on a 5% fuel saving in eco mode.
In Germany, the CO2 price has been determined since 2026 within a specified price corridor of €55-65 per tonne of CO2 (source: BMUKN). The calculation in the calculator is therefore based on an average value of €60 per tonne of CO2.
