September 2026 – With the M.KO COOL and the Z.KO COOL, Schmitz Cargobull offers a through-loading combination for the transport of fresh, chilled and frozen goods in distribution transport. The system combines a refrigerated box truck with a central axle trailer and is particularly suitable for journeys with frequent loading and unloading operations as well as several stops.
The vehicle combination enables the continuous loading of trucks and trailers and supports efficient handling processes. The fully pneumatically assisted through-loading function simplifies loading and unloading and reduces manual effort for drivers. The drawbar, coupling, flaps, tail lifts and support legs are ergonomically arranged and easy to operate.
With a capacity of up to 36 Euro pallets, distributed over 18 pallet spaces each in the truck and trailer, the combination offers a high transport capacity for temperature-controlled distribution transport. Two tail lifts, each with a lifting capacity of 2.5 tonnes, enable goods to be handled even at unloading points without a ramp.
Additional safety
Additional safety is provided by a four-camera reversing system: two cameras on the M.KO COOL and two cameras on the Z.KO COOL improve the view of the working area of the tail lift and support safe operation from the driver's cab. Side protection between M.KO COOL and Z.KO COOL further increases safety in daily use.
For safe and efficient use in daily operation, the vehicle combination has continuous LED light strips in the cargo area as well as LED lights with stainless steel protection. Interior lighting improves visibility especially for transports with separate temperature ranges and for night deliveries.
A non-slip airline floor supports load securing and meets the requirements for hygiene and cleaning in food logistics. The robust design, the reliable cooling capacity and the equipment designed for distribution transport make the M.KO COOL and the Z.KO COOL through-loading train a practical solution for daily use in retail, gastronomy as well as event and contract logistics.
