Paver brake

During operation of the road paver, the truck-trailer combination is pushed during tipping. The paver brake controls the brake pressure, preventing the semi-trailer from rolling away on sloping ground.

Flashing side marking lights

The flashing side marking lights (SML) help to avoid accidents when turning. When the driver indicates, the side marking lights on the semi-trailer also flash, signalling to other road users that the vehicle is about to turn.

Aluminium box body

More payload, less weight: the light aluminium box body made from sturdy system profiles saves weight and increases efficiency. Optionally available with wear plates or plastic lining for additional protection.

Maximum loading capacity, excellent payload and, with an offset chassis, the high-volume version has a lower loading height. Various configuration options enable the aluminium box body to be individually tailored to the application.

The easy-to-use and robust body cover protects the load from moisture and dirt, especially during transport. An optional quick-release fastener saves time and simplifies operation.

Digital on-board weighing system

The on-board weighing system enables the driver to determine and document the vehicle's payload at the loading site. There is no need to approach a stationary checkweigher, which saves fuel and time and reduces CO2 emissions. Operation is intuitive and can be carried out via the screen or the beSmart app. The loading data can be called up for the driver directly after the weighing process. With Schmitz Cargobull TrailerConnect® telematics, the data is transferred to the portal for further processing.

TPMS with autolocation

The tyre pressure monitoring system displays when you need to top up air into a tyre. With autolocation the sensor is assigned to the correct tyre position. The Schmitz Cargobull sensor learns independently and records the tyre pressure and tyre temperature data. The correct tyre pressure reduces wear and tear while saving fuel due to improved rolling resistance.

Tyre re-pressurisation system

The tyre re-pressurisation system checks the tyre pressure and automatically inflates the tyre if required. This results in lower tyre wear and improved driving characteristics.
