Lifting axle

The axles of ROTOS^® running gear can optionally be equipped with a lifting function. The axle lift and starting aid increase efficiency, driving safety and traction, reducing tyre wear.

The Load Spread Program relieves pressure on the rear axle

Load Spread Program

If the semi-trailer is partially unloaded, the centre of gravity shifts and the fifth-wheel loading becomes heavier. The Load Spread Programme (LSP) takes pressure off the rear axle, compensating for the shift of the centre of gravity.

Sliding curtain

XL load-securing side curtain 1,800 mm high. Built-in anti-theft protection by means of steel wires incorporated in the curtain to prevent intentional cutting. Simple to use for side loading and unloading with two sliding posts and a side curtain with 18 buckles.

Base plates at the rear portal

When a trailer is frequently loaded by forklift, the rearmost base plate is often exposed to increased wear and tear. To protect it, an additional base plate is fitted at the rear portal, extending the service life of the trailer.

High stacker axle load and a permanently elastic adhesive bonding of the floor

Glued floor

Permanently elastically bonded floors are load-bearing and protect the freight from the effects of weathering from below. As well as providing a watertight and sealed loading surface, the bonded floor also provides for a higher stacker axle load.

Wooden floor

Robust and durable perforated floors for various stacker axle loads are available. The floor plates are sealed to prevent moisture from reaching the freight from below.

Non-slip floor increases the safety of goods and prevents slipping

Non-slip floor

The non-slip floor with plastic coating keeps the load in place. Load securing is easier with a higher coefficient of sliding friction.

Tyre re-pressurisation system

The tyre re-pressurisation system checks the tyre pressure and automatically inflates the tyre if required. This results in lower tyre wear and improved driving characteristics.

The tyre pressure monitoring system displays when you need to top up air into a tyre. The correct tyre pressure reduces wear and tear while saving fuel due to improved rolling resistance.

Electronic ramp approach aid

The electronic ramp approach aid assists drivers when approaching loading ramps. Once reverse gear has been engaged, the system uses visual and audible signals to inform the driver of the distance remaining behind the vehicle. When the semi-trailer is nearing the ramp, the trailer brakes independently.

Stanchion pockets

The stanchions inserted in the floor can be used for form-fitting loading, providing yet another flexible load securing option. They efficiently secure in place longer materials, among other bulky goods.

The lashing eyes, with a pulling force of up to 4 tonnes, provide flexible load securing points. They fit all common hooks for fast load securing, and chains can also be locked in them.
